Built in Johnson County.
Working Across the Kansas City Area.
SCP Construction is based in Lenexa and primarily serves Johnson County, Kansas, with select projects in nearby Kansas City area communities. We build custom pools, remodel homes, create outdoor living spaces, and build custom homes. Availability outside our primary area depends on your location and the scope of your project.
Whether you’re a homeowner, designer, or architect, share where you’re building and what you have in mind. We’ll help you determine whether SCP is a good fit.

Does Coverage Differ by Project Type?
Custom Pools and Outdoor Living
Our primary focus for custom pools and outdoor living is Johnson County and nearby communities. For projects outside that area, we consider the full scope of the work along with travel time.
If you’re planning a pool together with an outdoor kitchen, covered living space, or other improvements, tell us about the complete project when you reach out.
Home Remodeling
For remodeling, the size of the project makes a difference. Smaller projects, such as an individual bathroom remodel, are generally best suited to locations in or close to Johnson County.
A larger renovation may allow more flexibility. An existing designer relationship or plans for additional work can also be part of the conversation when we consider a project farther away.
Custom Homes
Custom home construction follows the same general focus on Johnson County and nearby areas. Share your lot location and the home you’re planning so we can discuss whether it falls within our working area.
Pool Service and Maintenance
Ongoing pool service has a different coverage area from pool construction. Our service area includes Lawrence, Basehor, Gardner, Olathe, and Louisburg. We generally do not provide ongoing pool service in North Kansas City. Contact us to confirm service availability at your address.
